Holistic design, community building, environmental sustainability.

Who We Are

We are three women gardeners who found each other through our horticulture studies at The Gordon and quickly discovered shared interests in holistic design, community building and environmental sustainability.

We come together with diverse experience in the fields of art, design, conservation and restoration. We prioritise working sustainably, we forage, repurpose and recycle wherever we can.

Collaborating on A Women’s Garden has been an opportunity to create something exemplary of our values. Designing and building together has allowed us to discover a shared practice of care for our community, Wadawurrung Country where we live and work, and for one another.

Gladmina Holistic Gardens

Meg is a craftswoman, a mother and almost-qualified horticulturalist, with a degree in Natural Resource Management and a working background in native revegetation. She is now a full-time gardener with a particular interest in growing fruit and vegetables and creating wildlife gardens that highlight locally indigenous plants. She will, however, never walk away from a lovely cottage garden. Meg works with a holistic approach to gardening that aims to increase biodiversity, improve the health and well-being of all who use the space and to encourage creativity and community connectedness.

Ruby Saltbush & Co

Georgina provides garden design and maintenance for folks in the Geelong, Bellarine and Surf Coast region, with a focus on fostering locally native species and creating climate resilient plantings.

With a background in environmental conservation and restoration, her approach is to re-connect humans to nature and provide some breathing room for native species, one garden at a time.

Bees Please Gardens

Sarah is a designer, gardener, lecturer and publisher currently training as a horticulturalist. She's passionate about gardens that support increased biodiversity, indigenous flora and fauna and health and education opportunities.

Bees Please Gardens sees all of Sarah's passions come together - from garden design with local biodiversity in mind, to working with kids in schools to educate, create and care for our outdoor spaces, to growing her own food.
